The way my family plays is we have multiple layers of boxes each wrapped in paper inside each box kind of like a Russian nest egg and each layer has a different prize but the one at the end is the biggest prize value-wise. So fun! There is another game like this. Those complaining about the gift need to just quiet down, the gift isn’t the point of the game or most games like this. Been at Holden beach and now eating lunch and will be back on Harley heading back home. Beach was great and the ocean water felt good too. I need the coolness of the mountains. I assure you, Mike is well taken care of and much happier than where he came from. Everyone was perfectly fine, but a little scared when the police had to talk to Mommy. Although the other driver, police, and my husband have all been so easy going about it, I have felt so down and sick about it all day. it’s not really funny, is it? Rachel is right, it takes nothing to lose everything. No one is immune to it. I understand energy, and well wishes, but when your diabetic toes are freezing, you need a warm place and a real solution. In a society where Money is treated like a God, people die out in cold. Then, they sat down with their own bottles and as they drank, they told stories that made me laugh out loud. Why did take silence for weakness? Why did they think so easily that the quiet could not fight back? My mind threw questions upon questions. They say one flight back and forth from Finland to Thailand pollutes about as much as driving a car for one year. Per passenger. I’ve started to feel guilty, very much. I feel guilty that we drove to Norway by car. But I know that we still pollute far less that way, than flying somewhere far away. And we see a lot of incredible nature at close, which makes me even more determined to try to protect it. But, in my final two years at Brown, I remembered. Only because I stopped trying to please this university. I stopped trying to please people. I started remembering who I was, and who I wanted to be. I do not regret leaving my reservation and I do not regret going to Brown. What I regret is not listening and giving myself to the ancestors.
